Orlo Terms of Use

Agreement and provider

Orlo is provided by Joseph Hoffmann, 5908 Mt Vernon Way, Racine, Wisconsin 53406-2759, United States. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Orlo, you agree to these Terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Orlo.

Adults only

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. Do not upload another person's image without their informed permission. Never submit images of a minor, unlawful or exploitative content, or nude, sexual, or intimate imagery.

License and acceptable use

Orlo grants you a personal, limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms, Apple's usage rules, and applicable law. The app is licensed, not sold.

Do not misuse the service, bypass security or quotas, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer except where law permits, interfere with others, upload malware or unlawful content, impersonate someone, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use Generated Previews to deceive, harass, sexualize, discriminate against, or make consequential decisions about a person.

Your content and permissions

You retain rights you hold in garment photos, garment details, body references, and feedback you submit. You represent that you own or have permission to use that content and that processing it as described does not violate another person's rights or law.

You give Orlo and its processors a limited, worldwide permission to host, transmit, transform, and process that content only to operate, secure, support, and improve the features you request, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. The permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to queued deletion, backups, safety, security, transaction, dispute, and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Generated Previews and suggestions

Generated Previews are illustrative creative outputs. Fit, drape, color, texture, pattern, identity, pose, and body details may differ. They are not fit, sizing, health, safety, professional, or purchasing guidance, and are not a substitute for trying on a garment.

Suggestions use only active items recorded in your wardrobe, but categorization, compatibility, and explanations may be incomplete or wrong. Review outputs before relying on them. You are responsible for how you use generated or suggested content.

Orlo Plus subscriptions

Orlo Plus is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The localized price, billing period, and any applicable taxes shown by Apple at confirmation are controlling. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

Unless you cancel, a subscription automatically renews for the same period. Apple may charge your account within 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your Apple Account subscription settings to avoid the next charge. Deleting Orlo does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription are separate actions in Settings. Refund requests and billing disputes are handled under Apple's rules.

Orlo offers no free trial, credit packs, advertising, or Family Sharing in version 1. Free access includes up to 30 active garments and two successful Generated Previews for the lifetime allowance associated with Apple's pseudonymous App Transaction identity. An active or Apple-verified grace-period Plus entitlement removes the artificial garment limit and includes 10 successful previews per subscription month. Unused previews do not roll over. Annual quota months are anchored to the original purchase day and clamp to the last day of shorter months.

If Plus expires, is refunded, revoked, or cannot be verified, your existing garments remain viewable, editable, styleable, and removable. If more than 30 are active, you cannot add another until you reduce the active count or resubscribe. A reserved preview is refunded for moderation blocks and provider failures. Cancellation after provider execution starts may consume it, and a successful result available for download consumes quota even if it is not fetched.

Availability and changes

Remote features may be unavailable because of country or storefront, age or consent state, inventory or category eligibility, quota, network status, processor readiness, safety controls, maintenance, or spend and kill switches. Orlo does not promise uninterrupted operation or that a particular provider, model, feature, or result will remain available.

In unsupported storefronts Orlo may suppress Plus sales, lift the local garment cap, keep local Suggestions available, and disable Generated Previews. Material paid-service changes will be handled as required by law and Apple's rules.

Deletion, suspension, and termination

You may stop using Orlo and delete content through Settings. Removing the app may remove local-only body references and previews but does not by itself cancel an Apple subscription or necessarily delete private iCloud or eligible service records.

Orlo may restrict or suspend remote processing to protect users, comply with law or provider rules, address security or abuse, or operate the service. We may terminate access for a material breach after notice where required. Provisions that by nature should survive—such as ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and lawful retention—continue after termination.

Apple and other services

Apple, Cloudflare, and OpenAI provide separate services governed by their own terms and policies. Apple is not responsible for Orlo support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the license terms against you. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orlo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, noninfringement, availability, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orlo and its provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or reliance on a Generated Preview or suggestion. Any aggregate cap and jurisdiction-specific exclusions must be confirmed during legal review. Mandatory statutory rights and liability that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer law in your residence may apply. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum, disputes will be brought in the state and federal courts serving Racine County, Wisconsin. Before filing a claim, contact superdipj@gmail.com so the parties can try to resolve it informally.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms materially change, Orlo will provide notice as required and update the effective date. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law.
